Donations may be dropped off at the Brookwood Library, 2850 NE Brookwood Parkway, Hillsboro. To donate more than 20 boxes, please call Friends of the Library at 503-615-2461. Monetary donations of any amount are always welcome!

Help with setup, takedown, and work at the event (no heavy lifting).
FRIENDS CORNER SHOP IN BROOKWOOD LIBRARY
Assist by interacting with patrons, stocking shelves, running the cash register, and providing general information to shoppers about the Friends or the library in general.
​OFFICE HELPERS
Help receive and sort donations, research donation values, prepare books for sale or recycling, pack up books for storage or shipment, assist with cleaning, repairing and assessing condition of items. Help in Friends Corner Shop bookstore area.

About Us
The Friends of the Hillsboro Public Library is a volunteer, non-profit 501c3 organization with one paid director. Our mission is to raise money for library needs by collecting and selling used books, music, movies, and other donated materials.
For over 40 years, our hard work and fundraising has benefited both Hillsboro Public Library locations and the community. In the past 5 years, we have made over $1.2 million that has been used for new book purchases, library program support, technology and Collaboratory equipment, furniture and building upgrades, and much more.
