Organize an amazing collection of books, media, and curiosities to delight eager shoppers by volunteering to set up the Friends of the Hillsboro Public Library Book Sale. It is one of the largest and most successful used book sales in the Northwest. Help unpack, sort, alphabetize, and merchandise the treasures. Three hour shifts available each day.
The Friends of the Hillsboro Public Library is a 501(3)(c) nonprofit organization that exists to benefit the Library. The Friends' chief fundraising activity is selling the books, videos, CDs and other items donated to the Library and/or culled from the library's collection.
The Friends are accepting donations of books, DVDs, Blu-Ray discs, CDs, and some other items for sale in their online store. All sales benefit Hillsboro Public Library. No appointment is needed for donations of up to two boxes or bags at the Brookwood Library. For larger donations, arrange an appointment by calling the Friends at 503-615-2461. Receipt forms can be found here: Donations of Library Materials Form.
